The Benefits of Cinnamon

Did you know cinnamon contains cancer-fighting compounds? Studies have shown that the spice helps reduce tumour growths by blocking the formation of new vessels, through the process of angiogenesis (Beliveau, 2010).

Other spices that have anti-cancer properties include garlic, ginger, tumeric and cayenne pepper.

Next time you feel like a hot chocolate, try adding cinnamon. 

Not only will it taste great, but it will help fight and prevent cancer too!
